Presiden Joko Widodo dan Ibu Iriana bertolak menuju Provinsi Bengkulu guna melakukan kunjungan kerja pada Rabu, 19 Juli 2023. Dari Pangkalan TNI AU Halim Perdanakusuma, Jakarta, Presiden Jokowi dan rombongan lepas landas sekitar pukul 14.00 WIB.
Setibanya di Bandar Udara Fatmawati Soekarno, Kota Bengkulu sekira pukul 15.15 WIB, Presiden Jokowi disambut oleh Gubernur Bengkulu Rohidin Mersyah beserta istri, Pangdam II/Sriwijaya Mayjen TNI Hilman Hadi beserta istri, dan Kapolda Bengkulu Irjen Pol. Armed Wijaya beserta istri.
Dari bandara, Presiden Jokowi akan menuju hotel tempatnya bermalam di Kota Bengkulu dan melanjutkan agenda kunjungan kerja esok hari. Presiden Jokowi antara lain dijadwalkan untuk meresmikan Jalan Tol Bengkulu-Taba Penanjung.
Turut mendampingi Presiden Jokowi dalam penerbangan menuju Provinsi Bengkulu yaitu Menteri Sekretaris Negara Pratikno, Menteri Pekerjaan Umum dan Perumahan Rakyat Basuki Hadimuljono, Sekretaris Militer Presiden Laksda TNI Hersan, dan Komandan Paspampres Mayjen TNI Rafael Granada Baay.
